Make a positive impact on the lives of others by donating blood at the Wentzville Parks & Recreation Summer Blood Drive, Monday, July 23rd.  In less than 1 hour just one donation can impact the lives of as many as 3 patients!  In the summertime there is a desperate need for blood donations, especially negative blood types. 25% of all blood donated comes from college and high school students who are not in session at that time. The Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center will have a mobile unit at Progress Park from 3:30-6:30 pm for those wishing to donate.  Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center is the sole provider of blood to the area SSM St. Joseph Hospital system. You may schedule an appointment time, or feel free to drop in!  To schedule an appointment you may go on-line at www.bloodcenterimpact.org  (sponsor code 9310) or register by phoning the Progress Park office at 636-332-9236.  All presenting donors will be entered into a weekly drawing for a $100 gas card.
