A group of shoplifters at Von Maur in Lake Saint Louis led police on two separate car chases and resulted in the arrest of all six suspects Friday afternoon.

Fox 2 News reported that the two men and four women who were steaing items from the upscale department store at The Meadows were wanted for a history of similar shoplifting crimes.

One of the suspects assaulted a store employee before the suspects fled the scene in two cars. One group was arrested in Lake Saint Louis, but the other car made it to west St. Louis County before it crashed and the suspects were apprehended.
