Here's how the voting broke down:
Who was the top football player from Week 2 of the 2012 season?

- Kyle Bazzel—St. Dominic: 1 votes (16 percent)
- Clay Stulce—Duchesne: 0 votes (0 percent)
Abbington had a good day on the ground against Francis Howell Central would be a bit of an understatement. The Bulldogs' senior running back dominated the Spartans in the rain. Abbington carried the ball an incredible 44 times for a staggering 324 yards—for the less math inclined that a 7.4 yards per carry average. Two of his carries resulted in touchdowns—two of the three the Bulldogs scored all game. His final score, a 49-run in the fourth quarter, broke a 14-all tie and helped Zumwalt South improve to 2-0 on the season.
Patch wants to thank everyone who voted. Remember, this whole contest is just for fun and bragging rights.
