Ex-Teachers Aide Indicted for Sex With Student Charges

The former Wentzville School District employee had a six-month relationship with the student, police said.

A former Wentzville School District teacher’s aide was indicted Friday by a St. Charles County grand jury for having sex with a high school student.

Victoria Reinke, 29, of the 600 block of Aster Lane in O’Fallon, faces two counts of second-degree statutory rape and a sexual contact with a student charge.

Wentzville Police said that Reinke had sex with the student in her van at different locations around St. Charles County after school hours, including two sex acts in the 500 block of Highway N in Wentzville. None of the sex acts took place on school property or during school hours, according to a district news release.

Police found more than 400 cell phone calls and text messages between Reinke and the student from Dec. 25 and March 2012. She maintained an ongoing relationship with the student for about six months.

Reinke worked at Timberland and Holt high schools as a teacher’s aide.

The title of this article is missing an apostrophe in the word "Teacher's" and it is also questionable in how the end of the title is constructed. I don't think the work "Charges" is necessary in the title since indictment indicates they are being charged. It would read far better if, for example, it said, "Ex-Teacher's Aide Indicted for Sexual Misconduct with Student."
