The MSHSAA Wrestling Championships wrapped up yesterday in Columbia. Here's how Wentzville schools finished up:
Timberland finished in eighth place with 58.5 points.
Senior Jesse Freise lost to Lindbergh’s Michael Slyman for the 152-pound championship. Junior Colton Orlando finished third in the 119-pound bracket.

Holt finished tied for 28th place with 20 points.

In Class 4, Francis Howell Central finished in second place with 126.5 points.
In Class 3, Fort Zumwalt North finished tied in ninth place with 52 points.
Junior Zach Nelson finished in second place in the 112-pound bracket. He lost to Kearney’s Jaret Singh. Cole Reedy also finished in second place. He fell to Helias’ Tyler Loethen in the 152-pound championship match.
Also in Class 3, Fort Zumwalt East finished tied for 19th place with 24 points.
