A Foristell man was indicted Friday by a St. Charles County grand jury after being accused of performing a sex act on a sleeping man. 

Nathaniel Dickherber, 23, of the 10200 block of Forest Trails in Foristell, is charged with deviate sexual assault.

St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputies said a group of people gathered in the 1300 block of Josephville Road in Josephville Feb. 2 to play cards. Deputies said there was casual drinking throughout the night and all parties went to bed.

A Wentzville man told investigators he was asleep on a couch and awoke about 6:15 a.m. Feb. 3 to find Dickherber performing a sex act on him.  The man said he began yelling and punched Dickherber in the face.

The yelling wound up waking everyone in the apartment up and the victim began telling them what happened, according to court documents. The man said he left the apartment and called police from a gas station, according to court documents.

Dickherber posted 10 percent of a $25,000 bond and was released from jail Feb. 8.
