Photographers Auction Artwork for Joplin Tornado Victims

  • Where/When? Friday, July 29, 6 p.m. at 6128 Delmar Blvd., St. Louis.
  • Why Go? The Regional Arts Commission and St. Louis Post-Dispatch photographers J.B. Forbes and Robert Cohen present a collection of photographs taken immediately after the tornado in Joplin, Missouri. All proceeds go to the tornado victims. 
  • Pricing: Free. Donations accepted.

St. Charles County Fair

  • Where/When? Friday and Saturday, All day at Rotary Park, 2577 W. Meyer Rd., Foristell.
  • Why Go? This fair has something for everyone from bull riding to a rock band. There’s even a petting zoo for the children.
  • Pricing: $15 for adults and $5 for children. 

Tour of the Little Hills Bicycle Ride

  • Where/When? Sunday, July 31, 7:30 a.m. at the Foundry Art Centre, 520 N. Main Ctr., St. Charles.
  • Why Go?  Experience the “little hills” on two wheels. This tour is intended for experienced cyclists.
  • Pricing: $8 members; $13 non-members; $3 children.

Passport to Mexico

  • Where/When? Friday, July 29, 3:30 p.m. at Corporate Parkway Library, 1200 Corporate Pky., Wentzville.
  • Why Go? Teens have the opportunity to participate in a Mexican Fiesta where they can experience Mexican culture through food, crafts, games and more!
  • Pricing: Free.

Free Childbloom Guitar Program Summer Lessons

  • Where/When? Saturday, July 30, 11 a.m. at Childbloom Guitar Center, 7829 Mexico Rd., St. Peters.
  • Why Go? Childbloom Guitar program will have your child playing guitar by the end of his or her first session. How cool is that?

"Food Network Star" Casting Call

  • Where/When? Saturday, July 30, 10 a.m. at the Sheraton-St. Louis City Center, 400 S. 14th St., St. Louis.
  • Why Go? Do you have what it takes to be a food network star? Find out at this casting call.
  • Pricing: Free. Bring your completed application, two photos of yourself and a resume.

St. Charles High School Pirate Treasure Flea Market

  • Where/When? Saturday, July 30, 7 a.m. at St. Charles High School, N. Kingshighway St. & Bennett Ave., St. Charles
  • Why Go? St. Charles High is hosting a flea market, so come sell, shop, and have fun!

Framations Anniversary Celebration

  • Where/When? Friday, July 29, 6 p.m. at Framations, 218 N Main St, St. Charles
  • Why Go? Come enjoy the festivities as their launch two new exhibits, "Then & Now" and "Everything & Anything."
  • Pricing: Free.

The Drowsy Chaperone

  • Where/When? 8 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday, July 27-30, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 31. at St. Charles Community College
  • Why Go? Grab your flapper hat and enjoy this touching story set in the 1920s.
  • Pricing: Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for seniors and college students with ID. To purchase tickets, call the SCC Box Office at 636-922-8050. 

Pound the Pavement Pre-Race Clinic

  • Where/When? Saturday, July 30, 7:45 a.m. at Wentzville Lounge, 11 W Allen St, Wentzville.
  • Why Go? Get ready for the 2nd annual Pound the Pavement 5k/10K with a series of four pre-race clinics for runners of all ages and abilities. Learn about nutrition, stretching, gear and much more.
  • Pricing: Free.
