Holt senior Mitchell Wilfer has committed to play basketball for the Big Blue of Milliken University in Decatur, Illinois. With his mother Heidi and father Bob by his side, Mitchell signed his National Letter of Intent at Holt High School.
Mitchell was named to the 2012 First Team All-Tournament at Fort Zumwalt North’s Invitational Tournament as well as the Second Team All-Conference for GAC South.
Mitchell holds a 3.67 GPA, is a member of the National Honor Society and volunteers for MoDot’s Adopt a Highway program. He plans to study mathematics education at Millikin.
