Lake Saint Louis Boasts New Gardening Center

Locally owned and operated, the Garden Center has competitive pricing and a variety of plants, gardening tools and supplies.

I am very happy that a new garden center has opened up in Lake St. Louis on Technology Drive next to the Meadows Shopping Plaza. It’s aptly named the Lake St. Louis Garden Center.

I stopped by there last week, walked around to see what plants are available, and I’m pleased to announce, if you haven’t already been there, that the prices look competitive and the plants look very healthy. Jim Tricamo, one of the owners is manager of the landscaping division. I’ve worked with Jim and his crew before and highly recommend his creative design talent and good work ethic.

Since this garden center is locally owned and operated, there is a strong vested interest in the appearance of the store and landscaping as well as how plants are displayed and labeled. They have shrubs, trees, perennials, tropicals and annual plants. They also have tools, fertilizer, pottery, benches, fountains, garden statues and a lot more.

Margaret Kozozinski, a resident of Lake St. Louis and the custom creations designer is back to bring us those wonderfully inventive potted creations for those that don’t know how or don’t have the time to put a custom creation together. Stop by soon for your spring and summer planting, and don’t forget to feed the fish.

Reminder: Help to support local organizations. Stop by the Community Association Clubhouse for Jardin du Lac garden club’s annual plant sale this Saturday, April 30, 8 a.m. until noon. Print out the plant sale flyer and coupon to bring with you to the plant sale.
