If you're looking for the unusual or unique, plan a trip to the Lake Saint Louis Farmers' and Artists' Market at The Meadows.

Wentzville Patch visited last Saturday and saw booths displaying handcrafted jewelry, wood and metal sculptures. Also offered for sale were home-made baked goods and jellies, all sorts of plants and flowers, vegetables, and even locally raised meat.

Live music adds to the festive atmosphere of the market, which is held in the southeast parking lot from 8 a.m. to noon, rain or shine, until October 13.
