Wentzville Woman Injured in Chain-Reaction Crash

The accident occurred on westbound Interstate 70 during rush-hour traffic Friday.

Three drivers from Wentzville, Lake Saint Louis and O'Fallon were involved in a three-car chain-reaction accident Friday on Interstate 70.

Linda E. Parr, 45, of Lake Saint Louis, was stopped for traffic in her 2001 GMC Yukon at 4:25 p.m. Friday. Behind her, a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Tamala D. Tramble, 43, of Wentzville slowed for the congestion.

A 2002 Ford F150 pickup driving by Rob B. Chatman, 21, of O'Fallon, was following too closely behind Tramble, reported the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Chatman's truck struck the rear of Tramble's Pontiac, which in turn struck the back of Parr's vehicle.

Tramble received minor injuries in the crash and was taken by ambulance to SSM St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles. She was wearing a safety belt.

No other injuries were reported.

A blatantly unedited article on an uneventful story. Talk about win win. I was wondering what southern state this happened in.
