Ross Dress for Less In the Works for Wentzville

Department store could build new store between Best Buy and Kohl's.

Ross Dress for Less, a discount department store, is in the process of opening one of its first Missouri location in Wentzville.

Plans are still in the works and the Wentzville Planning and Zoning Commission will review the store's site plan tonight at the commission's regularly scheduled meeting. That meeting is slated for 6 p.m. inside City Hall, located at 310 W. Pearce Blvd., and is open to the public.

If approved, Ross Dress for Less, which specializes in discounted name-brand clothing, would build its new store in the vacant lot between Best Buy and Dress Barn. The shopping center is also anchored by Kohl's.

According to city documents, Ross Dress for Less would build a 25,000 square-foot store.
