Spring is here! Wentzville Patch has put together a collection of indoor and outdoor offerings to help you and you family embrace the new season.

SPRING STORIES

• Where/When: St. Charles City-County Library, McClay Branch, Friday, 10 a.m.
• Why Go: This story time session focuses on sharing stories about spring with pre-schoolers. There will also be a crafting activity.
• Pricing: Free. Be sure to pre-register.

AFTER HOURS TEEN MOVIE

• Where/When: St. Charles City-County Library, Corporate Parkway Branch. Friday, 6 p.m.
• Why Go: What's not to love? Kids in grades six through 12 can enjoy Scott Pilgrim vs. the World in a safe environment.
• Pricing: Free. Be sure to pre-register.

PARK IT!

• Where/When:  Saturday or Sunday, normal park hours: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. 
• Why Go: Consider reserving a picnic shelter at either park to celebrate spring with your family and friends. Enjoy the playgrounds. There's also the 1.3-mile pedestrian trail at Rotary Park. 
• Pricing: Renting a picnic shelter is $25 for residents. Otherwise, the parks are free to enjoy.

PATCH DAY AT THE REC-PLEX

• Where/When: The St. Peters Rec-Plex. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Why Go: Meet the Patch team from Wentzville, St. Peters, O'Fallon, Lake Saint Louis and St. Charles. We'll have giveaways and show you how to make the most of your hometown news and information source.
• Pricing: Free

LES MISERABLES

• Where/When: St. Charles Community College, Cottleville. Two shows on Saturday, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
• Why Go: This classic is entirely performed by students in the Young People's Theatre. There's a free 30-minute educational session with cast members prior to each show about French culture and customs, why they were fighting and what impact this had on democracy.
• Pricing: $8
