Two Charged with Selling Prescription Drugs to Undercover Officer
Lake Saint Louis woman and O'Fallon man sold prescription medication used to treat ADHD and opiate addiction.
A Lake Saint Louis woman and an O’Fallon man are being charged selling prescription medicine to an undercover officer.
Kimber Leigh West, 19, of Lake Saint Louis met with an undercover officer on Aug. 31 and Nov. 18 at 1600 Ronald Reagan Boulevard to sell him her Vyvanse prescription. She sold two doses for $10 each time. She said her mother knew she was selling her prescription and only gave her two doses at a time.
Vyvanse is an amphetamine often prescribed to treat attention deficit disorder. She was arrested Feb. 6 by the St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department and admitted to selling her prescription medication, according to the police report.
After her arrest, West said told investigators she uses heroine every chance she gets.
The undercover officer also bought prescription medication from her boyfriend, Michael Hildebrand, 20, of O’Fallon, on four occasions: Feb. 8, Feb. 9, Feb. 16 and Feb. 22. The officer bought Suboxone for $30 from Hildebrand on Post Meadow Drive near Post Glen Court in O’Fallon, where Hildebrand lives.
Suboxone typically is used to treat opiate addiction.
Bond was set at $50,000 cash only for Hildebrand and West.
