Two Wentzville residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident Sunday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 7:20 a.m. on Interstate 70, 0.4 miles west of Route N in Montgomery County.
A 1991 Chevrolet Scotsdale, driven by Roy L. Meserole, 33, Evansville, IN, was traveling at a high rate of speed when it struck the rear of a 2002 Ford F-150, driven by Myron L. Couch, 59, Wentzville.
The Ford traveled off the road, overturned and came to rest on the north outer road.
Couch's two passengers sustained serious injuries in the crash. Thomas J. Couch, 20, and Katherine Crenshaw, 58, both of Wentzville, were taken to University Hospital by Montgomery Ambulance.
Thomas Couch was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
