Wentzville Police Blotter: Headstones Damaged, Sudden Death at the Economy Inn

Following is a list of reports taken by officers of the Wentzville Police Department on Sunday, Oct. 28 and Monday, Oct. 29.
October 28
- Drug violations were reported in the 2500 block of East Pitman Avenue at 2:50 a.m. Anthony Degruccio, 21, was arrested for possession of marijuana.
- A sudden death was reported at the Economy Inn on Continental Drive. at 8:01 a.m.
- Stealing was reported on East Maple Street at 9:21 a.m. Patio furniture valued at over $500 was stolen.
- Domestic violence was reported on South Church Street at I-70 west at 12:47 p.m.
- An animal at large was reported in the 300 block of East Northview Avenue at 1:12 p.m.
- Property damage was reported in the 1100 block of South Linn Avenue at 4:06 p.m. Headstones were damaged, and the damage was estimated at over $750.
- A runaway/missing person was reported in the 1200 block of Highland Circle Drive at 7:17 p.m.
October 29
- A burglary was reported at Napa Auto Parts at 5:13 a.m. Currency was stolen and a door was damaged.

- An auto accident was reported at 7:57 a.m. in the 1100 block of Hwy. Z.
- Stealing was reported at Suntrup Hyundai on Wilmer Road at 10:15 a.m. Over $500 in currency was taken from a building.
- An auto accident was reported on Luetkenhaus Boulevard at I-70 west at 11:18 a.m.
- Suspicious circumstances were reported at 12:48 p.m. on Linda Lane. A subject was locked out of an apartment.
- An auto accident was reported in the 1800 block of Wentzville Parkway at 3:22 p.m.
- An animal at large was reported in the 700 block of East Koenig Street at 3:35 p.m.
- A DFS report was taken in the 200 block of Grove Park Court at 4:45 p.m.
- Property damage was reported in the 200 block of Stone Run Boulevard at 5:13 p.m. Locks on doors were damaged.
