Wentzville Teen Involved in Fatal Car Crash on Hwy N
The car's driver, Emily B. Herberger of Foristell, was killed in the one-car crash.
Emily B. Herberger, 16, of Foristell, died Monday night after a crash on Highway N.
Alivia A. Nolting, 16, of Wentzville, a passenger in the car, was injured. Nolting was wearing a seat belt. Herberger was not.
Herberger was driving a 2010 Chevy Camaro westbound on Highway N east of Ellerman Oaks Drive at 11:09 p.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
The vehicle exited the left side of the roadway and struck a mailbox, overturned and struck a roadway sign. It then crossed back over the road and left the roadway on the right side before coming to rest upright.
Herberger was pronounced dead at the scene by St. Charles County EMS personnel.
Nolting was taken to SSM St. Joseph Hospital West with moderate injuries.
