We want Wentzville Patch to be a place where you can not only find out what's going on around town, but a place where you can share your thoughts and ideas with neighbors.
Our newest feature—Visions for Vacancies—aims to help residents take an active role in planning and building their community.
Each week, we'll highlight a vacant commercial space and ask what you would like to see move into this area? If you know of an area you'd like to see highlighted, tell us in the comments.
This week, we are taking a look at the former home of Office Depot, which is located right next to Michaels, and is used for a seasonal Halloween store.
If it were up to you, what would you like to see there? What do you think would best serve the Wentzville community in that spot?

I would like it to be an entertainment venue. The type that would draw local and national bands. If you don't like that, how about an indoor training facility for local athletes. Things like batting and pitching cages for baseball/softball. Maybe a small indoor football/soccer field.

Love kirklands! What about the container store or health food store. There isn't a health food store that I know of in the near vicinity.
