Blanchette Park in Saint Charles is my favorite, because it is the closest public park to which I can walk. And the walking loop there is great also. My grandchildren love the playground at Blanchette!

Thanks for the nomination Sue! It's nice to have parks within walking distance of your house.

O'fallon's newest playground has surely given new life to Westhoff Park.

I'd have to agree with Megan! Ft. Zumwalt park is a great place to go with your family for a walk, a picnic or just some time outside.

Billy,
With so many great parks in St. Charles County I feel that O'Fallon has the best parks.Ozzie Smith Sports Complex is probably my favorite, because the quality of the fields are superior and it is home of Heritage Freedom Festival. The atmosphere is always buzzing! Westhoff Park is booming with all of the new renovations and Dames Park is a quiet walking/playground/ football complex that is perfect for all ages. This was a tough choice.

McNair Park in St. Charles is a wonderful place to run, walk, bring the kids, play ball, etc. It also has a beautiful Braille Trail complete with a gazebo and water feature.

Clearly none have been to Progress Park or Rotary Park in Wentzville. Rotary park is a massive expanse of land consisting of a Renaissance Faire, a gorgeous lake, and a beautiful landscape with many trails and fun things to find. In addition to this park, Progress Park has an Olympic sized pool with a really big water slide and two diving boards. Indoors there is also a state of the art gym and basketball courts. I have yet to go to a park that's better than Rotary or Progress.

Klondike Park, feels like you are getting away from it all, but not leaving the county. Great hiking, cycling, camping, and fishing lake.
