My name is Evonne Grabauskas and I am the owner of Beautiful Celebrations, llc wedding& event planning. Welcome to my blog. I am so happy to finally accomplish my last 2012 business goal…To start a blog! Better late than never, right? How about a little 411 about me first? 

I currently live in O’Fallon, MO (a suburb of St. Louis, often known as part of the ‘golden triangle’) with the love of my life, Gint, and our two sons Kyle & Nicky. 

I have a business degree in Human Resource Management but ended up being an entrepreneur and owning a wedding planning company for the past 7 years in two different states (CO & MO). 

When I’m not out planning a wedding, I am either taking my beloved Golden retriever, Mali, out for a jog, driving the kiddos to basketball or piano practice,  Or baking some mean cupcakes or chocolate chip cookies (I love sweets!). Did I mention shopping too? (I could make shopping a sport!).

I am always thinking to myself, how do I stand out in the sea of wedding planners? The answer: customer service. I have the joy of owning my own company and beingable to do a job that I love. Since I love what I do, I am able to succeed and grow.

I don’t treat my clients like numbers, I actually get to know them and become a friend and treat them like one too. If a bride wants to sit and chat about her dress, I sit back and listen and love every minute! Even after the wedding is over and done, I love to stay in touch with my brides. 

What is the purpose of this blog? Well, throughout my years of experience of planning weddings I have learned quite a lot and would love to share my findings with you. This blog will definitely give you tips for planning, creative ideas and hopefully a few inspirations and of course lots of opinions too!
