DESCRIPTION:The Shoes For Life Drive Wants Your Shoes!\nHelp provide fres
 h drinking water to developing countries through your shoes!\nSt. Louis\
 , MO &ndash\; The Shoeman Water Projects\, a non-profit charity\, is par
 tnering with Kingdom Seeds Outreach to collect shoes and turn them into 
 clean drinking water. The shoes will get a second life as affordable sho
 es in developing countries\, and their sale will fund drills or water fi
 ltration systems that can access fresh water.\nThe organizers are accept
 ing new or gently used shoes. They need to be tied or bagged together. B
 ut\, if you forget\, they will still accept. Every donation will go to t
 he purchase of equipment needed. The goal is to collect 250\,000 shoes a
 t the three-day event.\nVisit one of 25 participating Wal-Mart stores in
  the St. Louis region. They will be accepting donations from Thursday\, 
 June 14 &ndash\; Saturday\, June 16 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. &ndas

 elp spread the word 99.1 Joy FM will be at one of the Wal-Mart locations
  on Saturday\, June 16. In addition\, St. Louis Green and Landmark Signs
  will be on hand to support the effort. Organizers are looking for addit

  collects an estimated one million shoes each year taking up space in pe

 million pairs of shoes since 2008. Any shoes collected that cannot be us
