See What It Was Like to Live in the 1860s and 5 Other Things To Do at Wabash Days

Wentzville's own downtown festival offers living history, a carnival, live music, a parade and lots more fun this weekend.

Wentzville's Wabash Days festival is coming up this weekend. Along with the Civil War re-enactment of the Battle of Wentzville (both Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.), visitors are encouraged to wander through the encampments or check out living history events at the Green Lantern Senior Center.

But what else can you do? Here are five more fun possibilities:

  • Enter the Pound the Pavement for Parks 5K and Fun Run.
  • Watch the Community Club parade at noon on Saturday.
  • Enjoy the carnival rides and amusements on West Allen Street.
  • Have a beer, relax and enjoy live music from the U.S. Airforce Band Saturday night.
  • Peruse the merchant booths and food vendors and then check out the motorcycle show on Saturday and the car show on Sunday.
