Wentzville Student Crowned Queen
Just crowned MISS SHOW ME STATE 2014, Chloe Layton, age 10, participated in the Miss American Coed Pageant, held July 11-13 in Lenexa, Kansas. Girls aged 3-22, divided into six age divisions, competed in formal wear, interview, personal introduction and many optional contests. Chloe Layton participated in the Sweetheart age division, along with other outstanding young ladies from across the states of Missouri, Nebraska and Kansas.
The pageant program is based on positive self-image and natural beauty within. Emphasis is put on the importance of developing self confidence, poise, and speaking skills, as well as setting and achieving personal goals.
As a State Queen, Chloe has won an invitation to the Miss American Coed National Pageant, being held this November at the Walt Disney World Resort. In addition, she has won a prize package including a cash reward, two admission tickets to the Magical Kingdom and other items!

Chloe Layton attends Heritage Elementary in Wentzville. She enjoys playing with her friends, riding her bike, competing in gymnastics and being a young entrepreneur!
