5 Local Construction Projects We'd Love to See Finished

It's always good to see new construction that brings new businesses to town, and construction that improves our infrastructure. But some of these projects just seem to go on and on.

  1. Ross Dress for Less. Okay, construction seems to be complete on the outside, anyway. So when is this store going to open?
  2. Fairfield Inn and Suites. Although I'm getting used to it being blue. Kind of liking it, actually. Can we keep it blue?
  3. CVS Pharmacy. Where else will you be able to park next to a cow while you pick up your prescription?
  4. Eagle Eye Gun Shop. It just keeps getting bigger and bigger. You can't even tell it used to be a Burger King anymore. Maybe they should just keep adding until it envelopes the old Belz mall? Now, that's the kind of gun shop that would put Wentzville on the map!
  5. Josephville Road. Okay, this is just a personal gripe, since I have to travel on it every day. But when you add pavement repairs to a road that's already frequented by bike riders and farm equipment, you have to build an extra 15 minutes into every trip. (And I wouldn't want to be late to the Ross opening!)
