Kid City Will be Rockin' the St. Charles Convention Center

Kid City has a number of activities available for your kids will keep them busy, active and safe all day.

The U.S. Cellular Safety Zone will be offering Child Identification Kits, and the interactice Kohl's Child Passenger Safety course will help them learn how to be safe on the road.

For sports fans, there is the Get Out and Play Zone, featuring batting cages and activity stations. And kids can get their bounce on in the always-popular Kid City Bounce House.

Story fanatics and those who want a break from active play can visit the Story Time Corner, presented by Prairie Farms and North Star Frozen Treats. And the Big Top Showcase will feature magicians, Bob Kramer's Marionetes and youth performers. Kids can also meet Dora and Diego, and visit Charlie the Tourtoise in the Pet Center.

Parents will find information about education, day care, camps, financial planning, healthcare, child safety and fitness. Plus, parents who donate blood at the Midas Blood Drive will receive a free oil change from Midas

Kid City will be held on Saturday, Oct. 1 at the St. Charles Convention Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $2 for adults and children 13 and up. Kids 12 and under are admitted free.
