New Creation Presbyterian Church in Wentzville will celebrate its first anniversary Sunday, Oct. 23.
Following the morning worship service at 10 a.m., the congregation will celebrate this important milestone with food, music and outdoor activities for all ages. Visitors are welcome to join in the festivities!
New Creation’s motto is: "A place to belong, believe and become new."
"We started this new church so people could experience a deeper level of community with God and each other. And they have,” said Jason Moore, pastor of . “People at New Creation experience the love of Christ as part of his family. Not because they deserve it, but because God is gracious and makes his love known to people just like you. People have found a place to belong."
"We started this new church so people could have the opportunity to ask questions and seek the truth about God. And they have,” Moore said. “People at New Creation can explore the claims of Christianity even if they don't agree with everything we teach. At New Creation, we are committed to discovering the truth in community with each other. People have found truth to believe."
Moore continued: “We started this new church so people could be honest about their lives and experience the power of God to make all things new. And they have. People at New Creation engage with the gospel week-after-week. They hear the good news that we are worse off than we know, but more loved by God than we can ever imagine. Knowing God's love for you can transform your life. People are becoming new."
New Creation is a growing church. But, as the congregation increases in size, leaders are determined to maintain a small church feel and a relational style of ministry where people are able to “belong, believe and become new.”
New Creation is located at 105 Creekside Office Drive (off West Meyer just west of Wentzville Parkway) in Wentzville. Sunday worship service begins at 10 a.m. A nursery and children’s church are available.
