Every Labor Day weekend, close to 60,000 people make the journey to St. Louis to experience Big Muddy Blues Festival, the region’s largest Blues music event. Located here on Laclede’s Landing, just north of the Gateway Arch, the festival’s backdrop is the Big Muddy itself – the river that inspired so many Blues songs and the musicians who wrote them.
