Local Artists Featured at St. Louis Artists' Guild

Drift is an exhibition featuring original artworks by local artists addressing our movement between East and West, our relationship to nature, the world in which we inhabit, and how people are affected by time, space and movement.

Renowned art critic and educator Dr. Ivy Cooper selected 85 artworks by 71 artists to be featured in the new collaborative exhibition Drift, presented at both Art Saint Louis and the St. Louis Artists’ Guild from June 25 through August 19, 2011.

Open to Saint Louis regional artists residing within a 200-mile radius, this exhibit, like many others featured by Art Saint Louis, focuses on promoting the artwork of local artists. All media and styles are featured including ceramics, collage, digital media, drawing, installation, metalsmithing, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, textiles, video, and more. *

As a collaborative venture, the exhibit has been split into two groupings, one featured at the St. Louis Artists’ Guild and the other at Art Saint Louis. Patrons are encouraged to visit both locations to compare and appreciate the full impact of the presentation.
