Lake Saint Louis Authors to Sign Book at Donatelli's, Barnes and Noble

Lake Saint Louis Police Chief Mike Force and Assistant Chief Chris Digiuseppi's "The Light Bringer" was published July 1.

As of Aug. 14, The Light Bringer was number seven on the bestseller list posted by the Independent Bookstore Alliance of St. Louis. Fans can meet the authors and have their copies signed at in Lake Saint Louis on Tues., Aug. 30 from 6:30 to 8:30pm.

The supernatural thriller by local authors Chris DiGiuseppi and Mike Force is described as "a cross between Cops and The Ghost Whisperer . . . part police drama, part supernatural intrigue, part action and quite inspirational," on a press release announcing the book signing event.

The book introduces readers to Police Officer Alan Crane, who is recruited by a special agency for an assignment involving duties far beyond the realm of routine police work.

“We wanted to create a story that provoked the reader to think beyond their own mortality,” says DiGiuseppi. “The Light Bringer bonds the actions we take in life to the path we walk after we die.”

on June 20, Force mentioned that a sequel to The Light Bringer was in the works.

The authors will also have a book signing at Barnes & Noble in St. Peters at noon on Sat., Aug. 27.
