Senior Fall Fun Day Features Apple Pie Contest

The Oct. 18 event is free and open to seniors 55 and over.

The Wentzville Community Club will host a Senior Fall Fun Day on Friday, October 18 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The day's events will include a concert, pig races, a free lunch, contests and prizes, and an apple pie and ice cream social.

An apple pie contest begins judging at 1:15 p.m., and the pies will be donated for the social later in the day. There is no fee to enter, but participants must be 55 or older. Ribbons will be awarded for first, second and third place. Complete rules for the contest are available at www.wassi.org. To enter a pie, call (636) 639-2151

  • 9:30 a.m. registration
  • 10 a.m. Concert
  • 10:30 Pig Races
  • 11:30 a.m. Free Lunch
  • 12:30 p.m. Music and Bingo
  • 1:30 p.m. Door Prizes
  • 1:45 p.m. Pie Contest Winners and Awards
  • 2 p.m. Apple Pie and Ice Cream Social
