Third Annual Art Fair Comes to the Meadows This Weekend

The handmade, high-quality work of midwest artists will be showcased on Sept. 24-25.

The work of 20 award-winning artists will be available for viewing this weekend at Clocktower Plaza at .

The Art Fair on the Meadows at Lake Saint Louis opens Sat., Sept. 24 at 10 a.m. and continues until 6 p.m. that evening, then runs Sun., Sept. 25, from noon until 4 p.m. The Art Fair is free to the public.

In an email to Lake Saint Louis Patch, event organizer and St. Charles County Arts Council member Don Crozier said, "It's a small show, twenty artists maximum, and it is in a gorgeous location that seems tailor-made for events of this type. The Meadows at Lake Saint Louis have been great to work with and we love the venue."

The fair will have a large selection of original artwork and hand-crafted gifts as well as wearable art such as one-of-a-kind silver, copper, glass, and stone jewelry.

The artists in the show are all local Midwest artists who create their unique artwork, one at a time, by hand. They have been specially selected by a jury committee for their unique artistry and creative vision.

"We've tried to ensure that everything in the show is of the highest quality. All artwork is made by hand by the artist," Crozier said.

"From the first year, we have invited not-for-profits to participate in the show at no expense to them. This year, we will have The St. Charles County Arts Council, The Women's Caucus for Art, The
Ambassadors of Lake Saint Louis
, and The Lake Saint Louis Artists
Association in the show."
