$5 Gas By Summer? Find the Cheapest Gas Prices Using Patch
Figure out which gas pumps around town are offering the best bargains by using Patch's latest feature.
The new year has greeted Americans with the highest January gas prices ever, and some analysts say prices could get close to $5 a gallon in some areas during the warm-weather driving season, according to a report on CNN Money.
According to the story, oil prices rose Monday after Iran cut exports to Britain and France.
In Wentzville, most gas stations were selling a gallon of regular unleaded for $3.46. That's more than a nickel above the national average of $3.39 per gallon, according to AAA.
