Ask the Patch Pro: Seeking Local Chiropractors

Patch is looking for experts who can talk health and offer their expertise this week.

We want to help you find answers to your questions about your back, neck and joint aches this week, but we need a little help. In the latest edition of "Ask the Patch Pro" we need local chiropractors who can answer readers' questions and offer advice.

If you're a local expert and can answer these questions and more, let us know two ways. One: You can leave a comment on this post along with your email address. Two: You can send an email to jordan.lanham@patch.com. We need experts to answer questions on Thursday, March 7. Curious as to what we are looking for? Take a look at some of our previous Patch Pro posts:

  • Ask the Patch Pro: Pet Care and Behavior
  • Ask the Patch Pro: Career Experts Answer Job Search Questions
  • Ask the Patch Pro: Seeking Lawn and Garden Experts

So what do you say, who wants to be our expert?

I am not an expert. An expert is someone who is usually trying to sell you something. I worked a few years ago as a massage therapist in a chiropracter office and we discovered his patients had much better results AFTER a massage of the problem area. It seems if the muscles are relaxed, the bone cracker action actually does a lot better. Most of the problems in the back and neck, I determined, was usually caused by a tight muscle pulling the back out of alignment. The tight muscles in the back were frequently caused by bad feet, which threw the back out of alignment due to the person walking differently to alleviate the foot pain. As I said, no expert here, just a little experience to pass on that might help someone. Good day.
