Friday Food Critic: Review Jimmy Johns in Wentzville

When it comes to restaurants, Wentzville has it covered.

We have some great local places that many would consider community gems; we have some restaurants that aren't exactly mom-and-pop but are unique to the area; and we certainly—for better or for worse—have plenty of chains lining our main streets.

But what we don't have is a consistent food critic to tell us what's good and what's not.

This week's restaurant is Jimmy Johns. Jimmy John's is the end cap of a small strip mall right in the middle of Wentzville's busiest retail area. The greeting sign on the door proclaims that they will delivery just one sandwich! Knowing that, then the challenge becomes which sandwich? Patrons can choose between eight-inch subs, plain slims, J.J. Unwich or J.J. Gargantuan. It features a variety of meats and cheeses and vegetarians will be happy to know they have plenty of options too.
