Friday Food Critic: Review Sunny Street Cafe

We nominate a restaurant. You review it. That's right, you're the local expert—and we want to hear what you think.

When it comes to restaurants, Wentzville has it covered.

We have some great local places that many would consider community gems; we have some restaurants that aren't exactly mom-and-pop but are unique to the area; and we certainly—for better or for worse—have plenty of chains lining our main streets.

But what we don't have is a consistent food critic to tell us what's good and what's not.

That's where you come in. It's your community. You eat the food. You tell us if it passes the mark.

That's why we have The Friday Food Critic column, where we put our local eateries on the chopping block. You tell us how you feel about it, what dishes are good, who has the best drink specials and so forth.

This week's restaurant is Sunny Street Cafe. Sunny Street Cafe is a great place to meet for breakfast or lunch. It offers its own Sunny Street coffee, daily soup specials, fresh muffins, dinosaur pancakes and smiley fries for kids, breakfast quesadillas, salads, burgers, sandwiches and more. Gluten-free options are available as well.

To add your review of Sunny Street Cafe, simply click on their name, anywhere in this story. You'll be directed toward their community listing in our directory, where you can rate them on a five-star system or write a personal review.

At Patch, we believe your words of wisdom are better than any food critic.

What are you waiting for? Let the reviewing begin!

My family enjoys eating at Sunny Street Cafe on Sunday mornings. It is not too busy and the food is very good, plus they have great pricing.

We eat at Sunny Street Cafe almost every weekend! Great food, great atmosphere! It's tucked away in the shopping center but it is definitely worth looking for - check them out!
