The General Motors Foundation, a charitable foundation funded by GM, announced that a total of $54,000 will be given to five area organizations supporting education, child welfare, community service, and environmental programs.
“Wentzville is not only where our employees come to work each day, it is where our families, friends and neighbors live, and we are proud to be part of this community. Part of our commitment is to help support local agencies that do so much good work here,” said GM Wentzville Plant Manager Nancy Laubenthal.
The five grants go to:
- United Way of Greater St. Louis, $19,000
- St. Charles Community College (SCC), $15,000
- Make-A-Wish Missouri, $10,000
- Greenway Network, $5,000
- Earth Force, $5,000
Grants are available to a wide variety of organizations that families rely on to provide much-needed services, improve education, and impact the quality of life within their respective communities.
