More Than 150 In Line for Chick-fil-A's 'First 100' Campaign

Lucky 100 now have to camp out for the day to receive free one free Chick-fil-A sandwich a week for a year.

They came with tents, computers, TVs and anything else they thought would help pass the time. In the end, only 100 were chosen to vie for a chance to win free Chick-fil-A sandwiches for a year.

More than 150 people attended the Wentzville Chick-fil-A's First 100 Camp Out, a standard grand-opening affair that doles out 52 free restaurant certificates to the first 100 in line. Since there were more than 100, winners were determined by raffle at 6 a.m. this morning.

Now, those selected will have to camp out on the grounds until 6 a.m. Thursday to claim their prize.

long-anticipated Chick-fil-A opens Thursday. A week ago, standing in line for the free meals would have been considered somewhere along the lines of crazy given the time of the year. Instead, those that made it out were greeted with temperatures hovering around the 40s.
