Munch Madness: 54th Street Grill and Bar vs. Heroes

You've heard of March Madness. This is Munch Madness—Patch's attempt to find the best restaurant in St. Charles County.

This week Patch launched its first-ever St. Charles County Munch Madness tournament!

Munch Madness runs along the same lines as the much-hyped college basketball tournament, except it uses St. Charles County restaurants instead of college basketball squads.

That's right, 64 restaurants all vying for top status in the county. All matchups were found by creating a randomized list via random.org.

How do they advance, you ask? It all depends on your vote—on the site, our Facebook page and Twitter feed! To learn more about the tournament .

54th Street has been at this location August 2007 and has been in business since 1989. The general manager lives in the Wentzville area and is really an asset to this restaurant. He keeps it hopping. The bar crowd is separated from the dining area and the decor is eye-catching. Everywhere you look is a piece of art or a collectible, from vintage beer signs to a motorcycle hanging from the entrance. 54th Street has a very large menu. For more information on 54th Street, check them out in our directory or leave a review by clicking HERE

This family-owned pub and grill has been in business for more than three years and is a welcoming spot for friends to gather to enjoy a cold drink and bar food like nachos, loaded fries, burgers, turkey melts and salads. Have fun playing darts and Texas hold'em, singing a little karaoke or listening to a DJ and hitting the dance floor. Of course, there's happy hour, too. For more information on Heroes, check them out in our directory by clicking .
