New Barbecue Restaurant Coming To Wentzville

The new restaurant plans a September 14 opening.

Patch spotted this "coming soon" sign in the parking lot of the former Mrs. B's/Ryan's Grill at 403 Luetkenhaus Boulevard.

The restaurant's Facebook page reports a Sept. 14 opening day, and says that the restaurant's menu will include competition style barbecue, fresh homemade sides and salads along with daily homemade cakes, cupcakes and pies. The restaurant will also offer gluten-free desserts.

Owners Kevin Kerr and James McCann say that the restaurant will be open for carryout and delivery seven days a week, 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. The dining room will be open from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday and from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m.,  Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

We can only wonder if the fire truck and the lettering on the sign is any indication of the type of barbecue sauce to expect.
