New Frozen Yogurt Café to Open Next Month

Chill Yogurt Café to move into space along Wentzville Parkway sometime in March

Frozen yogurt restaurants have boomed over the last few years, with popular chains such as The Orange Leaf, Froyo and Red Mango popping up all over St. Louis.

But has largely been ignored. Until now, that is.

Chill Yogurt Café, an Alabama-based frozen yogurt chain, is planning to open a Wentzville location at 1894 Wentzville Parkway—in Dierbergs Plaza between and —in March.

Chill essentially follows the same gameplan as Froyo and other similar stores—choose from a variety of flavors of frozen yogurt, sorbets and custards; top it with fruits, nuts, candy and more; and pay by the ounce at the register.

The store is banking on the fact that customers will want a healthy alternative to traditional ice cream.

"Consumers are now focused on low fat and low calorie healthy food choices when selecting their retail dining options across the country," a Chill release said.

On top of the frozen yogurt, sorbets and custar, Chill will also offer consumers baked goods and gourmet coffee. For a full menu, CLICK HERE
