Nine Ladies Dancing at Angie's Studio
On the ninth day of Christmas, Downtown Wentzville has for me: nine ladies dancing.
Angie's Studio, in its 29th year of business, has been owned by Angie Kortkamp for the last 19 of those years. The studio offers class sessions for everyone, age 18 month and up, and the styles offered include ballet, tap, hip hop, and jazz.
Angie's offers Toddler Time and Itty Bitty Dance classes for the little ones, and Dance Aerobics (with free child care!) for the mommies. There's even a class called "Silks," which is aerial acrobatics on silk fabric that is suspended from the ceiling!
Angie's is also home to the Starz dance team.

But Angie's Studio offers even more than dance classes.
Mom's Day Out is on the second and fourth Friday of each month, for children aged 12 months to five years. The cost of the day out is $20 per child, $5 for each additional child. Children can play in a bounce house and have story time, song and dance time and tumbling. You can register for Mom's Day out on their website.

Another service Angie's offers is birthday parties, which are always held on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon. At the party, the kids get to tumble, learn a dance, play dress-up and do their hair and makeup—and even put on a show for their families!
