Plans for New Wentzville Burger King Tabled Until August

The new fast food restaurant would be next to QuikTrip.

Pickett Ray & Silver Engineering has requested that a site plan, record plat and conditional use permit for a Burger King restaurant on Wentzville Parkway be tabled until an August Planning and Zoning Commission meeting.

The new Burger King was being planned for a site on the north side of Wentzville Parkway, about 650 feet west of Luetkenhaus Boulevard. The restaurant would be located just to the east of the QuikTrip gas station.

City staff expressed concerns about the location of a trash collection area, turn lane improvements, sidewalks and signage for the drive-thru in a letter to the engineering company on June 14.

On June 26, Pickett Ray & Silver sent their request to have the plans tabled while they address the city's concerns with the property owners.
