Wentzville Sam's Club Continues to Fill Job Openings

Sam's Club has set up a temporary hiring office in Wentzville.

With a planned opening of October 30, the Wentzville Sam's Club has gone into high gear to fill 140 job openings at the new location.

The office is located at 1126 W. Pearce, Suite 104. (The strip mall near where is also located.) The office has computers for interested job-seekers to fill out applications. Interviews are also held at this office.

Bobby Pleager, a hiring coordinator with Sam's club, said that they currently had many people at different points in the hiring process, but that many openings were still unfilled.

"We hope to get done some time in late September, so there's time to get everyone trained by the opening day," Pleager said.

Wentzville Patch has followed Sam's Club since plans first appeared before the Planning & Zoning Commission.

Yes, Sam's is still hiring! A Sam's Club staffer told me that the temporary office at 1126 W. Pearce is still open and taking applications, but that next week everything will probably be moved to the new store.

Dear Karla. I'm so sorry for your family's loss. I know when we went through something similar withRead More our cat, who had been with my wife for 19 years, it was like we'd been hit by a truck. I didn't expect to be affected as much as I was. Sorry this isn't a doggie memory...we're cat people, but the feeling is the same.

Thanks, Kurt - I really appreciate your post. Thankfully, I still have 3 cats and another dog atRead More home to help ease the pain. I agree with what what you said about being hit by a truck. I, too, didn't expect to be affected as much as I was - especially since I knew she was "elderly" for a dog. :)
