Wentzville's New Fairfield Inn & Suites Projects October 2013 Opening

Wentzville's newest hotel may begin hiring in August.

Ground was broken in December 2012 for Wentzville's new 90-room hotel, the Fairfield Inn & Suites.

Midas Hospitality, LLC, is the owner and manager of the hotel. Executive Vice President Rob Willard told Patch that the four-story hotel will have an indoor swimming pool, guest laundry and a meeting space for approximately 50 people. The new hotel will have a sharp, contemporary look with outside surfaces of block and steel.

"I am very excited to be part of the group who is bringing this quality lodging project to the City of Wentzville. It will be a great addition to an already well developed area of Wentzville, at the intersection of Wentzville Parkway and the I-70 corridor," Willard said.

Willard and his wife and three children have lived in Wentzville since 2004, he said. "We love the community, school system and economic growth taking place in Wentzville.”

Willard said that hopes are for the hotel to open in October, barring weather-related construction issues. The hotel will probably begin hiring in August. Interviews will be held at the hotel and prospective employees can look for "now hiring" signs at the site or for ads in local newspapers and on Craigslist, Willard said.

The Fairfield Inn & Suites will be the first upscale hotel in the Wentzville market.

Fairfield Inn & Suites is part of Marriott International.
