9/11 Remembered: Area Residents Discuss the Attacks

Residents from suburban St. Louis recall where they were during the attacks.

Today America remembers the Sept. 11 attacks in New York and Washington D.C. Patch spoke with several people affected by the attacks. Jeffrey Springer from Olivette, was in the World Trade Center when it was hit. He worked as a senior manager for Morgan Stanley on the day of the attack; he now works as a manager for a Philadelphia-based investment firm. In the video he appears with his wife Ruth about the event.

Kevin Boyer of Maryland Heights was also at the World Trade Center when it was attacked. He worked as a consultant for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. In the video, he explains the sound the tower made when it collapsed.

Kimberly Padilla from Wentzville was a Los Angeles-based flight attendant during the attacks. She had colleagues on the tragic flights.
