Adopt a 'Buddy' to Keep You Company

Looking to add something four-footed and furry to your family? Heartland Humane Society has lots of dogs and cats just waiting for a forever home like yours!

Heartland Humane Society wants you to meet Buddy.

BUDDY is a male beagle/basset hound mix. He was born on Nov. 19, 2006 and weighs approximately 50 lbs. Buddy is a friendly guy and loves getting attention from people.

When it comes to canine companionship, Buddy seems to prefer female dogs or low energy males. He does have the basset-beagle bark but he is not a barker when he is outside (unless his nose has found something interesting, of course).

Buddy would be a great family pet or companion for a single person. He rides well in a car and enjoys going for walks. He is crate trained and appears to be house trained.
