2013 will bring the world a new heir to the British throne—well, behind Charles and William.
Rumors have been confirmed—Prince William and Princess Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, are having a baby.
Her admission to the hospital for severe morning sickness has at least one expert wondering if the reason could be that Kate is carrying twins.
New legislation could also mean that the child—whether a boy or a girl—will be guaranteed a place in the line of sucession to the throne. If the royal baby is a little girl, she won't have to worry about future little brothers replacing her in the line.
