City Taking Orders for Run for the Wall Commemorative Bandanas

The City of Wentzville gave the special 25th anniversary bandanas to Run for the Wall riders when they passed through town.

For the 25th anniversary of Run for the Wall, the City of Wentzville ordered special commemorative bandanas to give to the participants when they stopped in town.

The city is now taking orders from anyone wishing to purchase a Run for the Wall bandana. The cost is $2, with an additional $1 if the purchaser wants to have the bandana mailed.

Orders can be placed at Wentzville City Hall, 310 W. Pearce Boulevard. For more information, call 636-327-5101.

The deadline for orders is June 14, 2013.

Run for the Wall honors veterans, prisoners of war and those missing in action. The riders began their trek this year on May 15 in Southern California, passed through Wentzville on May 20 and 21, and will arrive in Washington D.C. at the Vietnam Memorial on May 24.

Wentzville is the only city in the U.S. to have been a stop on the Run for all 25 years of the event.
