    Lauren R. Hollingsworth-Smith, 29, of Wentzville, was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:23 p.m. on March 9 following a two-vehicle crash on Highway N.
  2. Woman Caught With Kilo of Cocaine During I-70 Traffic Stop Near Wentzville
    The woman told a St. Charles County deputy she was taking the cocaine to Phoenix for a friend.
  3. Foristell Man Indicted For Performing Sex Act on Sleeping Wentzville Victim
    A St. Charles County grand jury decided Friday there is enough evidence for the case to proceed to trial.

  4. A Lake Saint Louis man is charged with using a "Whizzinator" to submit a sample during a drug test.

  5. Ricky Coppedge had 83.62 grams of pseudoephedrine hidden under his car hood and 13 grams of meth hidden in his dashboard, according to a court document.

  6. The woman's boyfriend also was charged after detectives found items in their bedroom, including a bag of white powder and drug paraphernalia.

    Sean M. Herod had been convicted in 2006 of two DWIs within three days of each other.
  8. Happy About Hotshots? Wentzville to Hold Public Hearings on New Businesses Coming to Town
    The regular meeting of the Wentzville Board of Aldermen is scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 13.

    Wentzville Police said Mark Anthony Taylor had sex with an 11-year-old girl in a Wentzville motel. Taylor had been staying with the girl’s family at a motel in Wentzville at the time.

    The franchise, started by two former firefighters, collects funds to help provide firefighters with equipment and other assistance.
