Get Out: Illusionists, Artists and Back To School Safety

  • Where/ When? St. Louis Artist’ Guild, 2 Oak Knoll Park, St. Louis, all weekend from noon to 4 p.m.
  • Why Go? 71 artists explore their ideas of time, space, and movement. The featured artist list includes St. Charles native Mark A. Fisher and resident T. Matthew Pierson. 
  • Pricing: Free.
  • Where/ When? , 504 Highway 61, Wentzville on Friday from noon to 2 p.m.
  • Why Go? Forget smelling the roses, Crossroads Iris, Hosta & Daylily Society teamed up with Mid-America Gardens to bring you a lovely bunch of irises.
  • Pricing: Please RSVP with Elaine Fix, 2011 Treasurer at 314-277-6186 or elaine.fix@ingfp.com. Lunch will be provided, admission is free and open to the public.
  • Where/ When? , 1 Woodlands Parkway, Saint Peters on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Why Go? Kick it with friends for a good cause. All proceeds will benefit Central County Community Outreach, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping those in need in the CCFR community.
  • Pricing: $250 Per Team with a 3 Game Minimum. Barbecue and soda are included.
  • Where/ When? , 1507 Highway Z, Wentzville on Sunday from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Why Go? Rudebeck has been performing for over 20 and has been seen on network TV. This is your chance to see an illusionist. You won’t believe your eyes.
  • Pricing: $10 per person or $35 for family pack (limit 8) Buy Tickets.
  • Where/ When? , 520 N Main Ctr, Saint Charles on Friday beginning at 6 p.m.
  • Why Go? This reception is an opportunity to meet and greet with the artists all the while chowing down on some appetizers.
  • Pricing: Free.
  • Where/ When? 2378 Highway K, O’Fallon Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Why Go? Getting in shape is hard to do on your own. This event allow women and moms to share their inspirational experiences and work out the kinks in their fitness program.
  • Pricing: Free. Ladies only. Bring your exercise clothes and shoes. Register by calling (314) 456-9692.
  • Where/ When? , 801 1st Capitol Dr, Saint Charles on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Why Go? This makes safety look fun! Hotdog lunches, games, prizes, inflatables, snow cones, and more! All children will receive a free school supply kit. 
  • Pricing: Free. 
  • Where/ When? , 100 Cognac Court, Lake Saint Louis on Saturday beginning at 8 a.m.
  • Why Go? Calling all mothers, daughters, fathers, and sons. This is a tennis tournament open to all, however teams must be a generation apart, related or unrelated.
  • Pricing: $5 to play; free to watch. All players must be at least 13 years of age.
  • Where/ When? Yankee Candle Company, 20 Meadows Circle Dr, Lake Saint Louis on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.
  • Why Go? Yankee Candle is throwing a Halloween Preview Party! Be the first to get a frightfully fun preview of the new seasonal selections and accessories.
  • Pricing: Free. 
  • Where/ When? , 1 Ameristar Blvd, St. Charles on Saturday
  • Why Go? Get out your hair band and your daughters baretts, it’s 80s night with the 80s Band!
  • Pricing: $5 Cover. 21 plus only.
